Warmzilla: Boiler Installation Review 2025
Update: October 2026
Although Warmzilla has its merits, iHeat* is our recommended new boiler installation provider in October 2026.
We found their fixed price, online quotation system very easy and quick to navigate through, and got the most competitive price out of all the providers we tested.
A good range of boilers were available to select from with warranty and after-care arranged and confirmed by iHeat*.
No hidden costs were added and a financing option to pay monthly was available to apply for, if required.
A next day installation slot was available and the communication was efficient.
To get a wider range of opinions, a high Trustpilot rating indicates most customers had a very positive installation experience. As of October 2026, iHeat are also a Which? Trusted Traders approved service.

Warmzilla Boiler Installation Review
When it’s time to replace your ageing boiler, choosing the right installation company is key. Get it right, and you’ll have an efficient, reliable heating system for years to come. Get it wrong, and you could face unnecessary costs and disruption down the line. That’s why we wanted to offer an in-depth review of Warmzilla’s boiler installation service – assessing everything from their availability and quotes process right through to their choice of boiler brands, engineer expertise and aftercare support.
Availability and Response Times
The first thing that stood out was how easy Warmzilla made it to get our initial boiler installation inquiry underway. Their online contact form took less than a minute to complete, after which we promptly received an email acknowledging our request. This was followed up with a phone call from one of their advisors less than 30 minutes later to run through a few initial details and get the ball rolling.
Considering this was mid-week during normal working hours, we felt this was an impressive response time that reflected the company’s commitment to customer service.
Quote and Boiler Choices
During that first phone call, the Warmzilla advisor discussed the types of boiler best suited to our home and requirements, talked through installation options, then booked in a home survey at our earliest convenience. All at no obligation and no cost to us upfront.
The engineer sent to carry out our home survey was very thorough – taking measurements of all existing pipework, analyzing the water pressure, calculating heat loss from each room, and taking photos to support the detailed quotation they subsequently produced. As promised, this quotation clearly outlined the proposed new boiler model and run of parts alongside the full installation and labour costs, allowing us to make an informed decision.
Engineer Expertise
With our new A-rated condensing boiler and parts order placed, Warmzilla were then able to schedule our installation about a week later. This suited us down to the ground. The engineer himself was very knowledgeable; taking time to explain what was happening at each stage while working diligently throughout. He also took great care to protect all floors and household items along the route from boiler location to outside wall.
We were keen to question him on elements that could trip up lesser engineers – like flushing the system, balancing radiator pressures and protecting against leaks via the F&E tank. His detailed responses gave us confidence in his competence. An impression backed up by the neat installation work carried out.
Aftercare & Next Steps
We were given a short Run Through of the new boiler once work completed, including advice on boiler settings, controls and any annual maintenance needed. There’s also a comprehensive User Manual that the engineer talked us through as part of handover.
One element we were particularly interested in was aftercare packages and warranties. Here, Warmzilla stand out for the comprehensive cover offered as standard. This includes 10 years warranty on new boiler parts and labour, plus 1 year labour warranty on other parts like thermostats and pumps. For extra peace of mind, we opted for their 5 Star Aftercare package – covering annual services and priority engineer call outs.
Our Verdict
Having reviewed Warmzilla across each key stage of our own boiler installation, we would have no hesitation recommending them. From initial inquiry to final certification, at every step of our customer journey we found them to offer knowledgeable advice, quality workmanship and reassuring aftercare at extremely competitive prices. For your important boiler installation project, feel confident placing it in their capable hands.
